Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a healing treatment that aims to balance the energy within the body. Hair-thin, one-time-use needles are gently and shallowly inserted in strategic areas of the body. This assists in restoring balance to both the body and mind, creating an environment where the body can tap into its innate intelligence for self-regulation and, ultimately, improved health.

The acupuncture experience greatly differs from receiving an injection, as the needles used are exceptionally thin, often resulting in minimal sensation for many patients. While the experience may vary for each individual, the majority report feeling only a slight amount of sensation.

Once the needles are in place, it is common to experience a deep sense of relaxation and overall well-being that can last for several hours following the treatment.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, a type of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
